This is a medium lanceolate point with an elliptical cross section.
The blade is excurvate with the tip curving in, becoming widest at the mid-point, and curving back in towards the base. The base may vary from straight to slightly concave with basal grinding present.
This point has a random flaking pattern.
Size Measurements: Total Length - 36 to
90 mm, (average 45 to 55 mm), Blade Width - 17 to 39 mm

This point is primarily associated with the Snake River Plains and through-out the Great Basin.

This point is named for examples that were recovered from the Wasden (Owl Cave) Site in Idaho which was excavated by Butler in 1978. He described a tool kit that have many
non-descript plano lanceolate projectile point. These points were found with two Birch Creek points. Folsom points were also received from the same levels that contained these non-descript lanceolate
points.
