Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:

This is a thin small corner notch triangular point with a  flattened cross section.  The blade is narrow and primarily straight, but may be excurvate and is serrated.  The blade commonly protrudes out at the shoulders similar to Livermore type points.  The shoulders may range from slightly barbed to horizontal or at a slight upward angle.  The stem is expanding, and the base may range from straight to convex.  This point has a random flaking pattern.

This type is primarily found in the Davis and Guadalupe mountains in Lobo Valley and the Salt Basin extending into the Glass Mountains and Toyah basin.  This point is rarely found in the Big Bend region and is thought to extend westward into New Mexico (Mallouf, 2013)
