This is a medium triangular expanding stem point with an elliptical cross section. The blade is primarily excurvate. The shoulders are primarily horizontal, but may range
from slightly barbed to having a slight upward angle. The stem is expanding with a stem that varies from straight to slightly convex. with rounded basal corners. This point has a random flaking
pattern.

This point is primarily found in northern Idaho, northwestern Wyoming, western Montana, and into southern Alberta, southeastern British Columbia, and southern Saskatchewan.
Additional Comments:
This is a Middle Archaic point that is associated with the Bitterroot Complex that was identified from the Mummy Cave site. There is another point (collector's type ?) that is smaller and associated with
the Shoshone culture that is also called Mummy Cave and was first identified from the same Mummy Cave site.
